2nd edition – ENSUS 2008
Organized by professors Paulo César Machado Ferroli, Lisiane Ilha Librelotto, Flávio Anthero Nunes Vianna dos Santos, Renato Buchelle Rodriguez and Jânio Vicente Rech, this edition was also held in Balneário Camboriú/SC, at the Univali Campus. The themes discussed in the first event were kept, keeping as the main focus the study of sustainability from an environmental, economic and social point of view applied to projects in the areas of Engineering, Architecture and Design.
The event’s audience exceeded expectations, reaching a registered total of 377 people, including participants, speakers, organizing committee, and supporters.
From this edition on, the event was extended to three days and practical workshops and mini-courses were introduced.
3rd edition – ENSUS 2009
It was held again in Balneário Camboriú/SC, at the Univali Campus, and organized by professors Paulo César Machado Ferroli, Lisiane Ilha Librelotto and Flávio Anthero Nunes Vianna dos Santos. This edition had international speakers and 12 technical lectures, 1 round table and 2 practical workshops. Also in this event there was the publication of the best articles in the scientific journal MIG – Revista Científica de Design.
4th edition – ENSUS 2016
With a new home and after a pause for adaptation, the ENSUS had a new edition together with the IV Project Sustainability Meeting, based at UFSC, in Florianópolis, at the Culture and Events Center of the Trindade Campus. Since then, it is promoted annually at the UFSC Campus, in Florianópolis/SC. The event had more than 350 participants and published 90 papers, being the 12 best evaluated in the MIX Sustentável magazine (online and print editions). With 32 speakers, it addressed different themes of sustainability applied to projects.
5th edition – ENSUS 2017
It took place from May 3rd to 5th at UFSC, with an audience of about 450 participants. The best papers were published in a book of the Design and Sustainability series from Editora Blucher and also in the Mix Sustentável magazine. Check in this link a little more about the last edition of the event.
